NEW TO SELLING OUTDOORS?
If you are new to exhibiting and/or selling art work outside the following points are set out to help you prepare, carry out and enjoy this exhibition experience with confidence.
INFORMATION | REGISTRATION
THE MARKET SQUARE
The Market Square will be ready to set-up from 7.30am.
Exhibitors are welcome to drive on the the square to unload and again to load your car from 4pm.
All cars must be removed from the square by 9.45am.
Gazebos are provided with one back cover. They are 3m x 3m and approximately 7' in height. The frame work can be used to display artwork.
Please avoid using sticky tape on any part of the frame. Gazebos must be cleared of all fixings before leaving.
Exhibitors must provide their own table/s and display stands. 6' folding tables are recommended. Hartleys Direct online have a good selection.
Fitted black cloths are provided and will fit a 6' folding tables. The cloths create a smart, uniform base for all displays.

PUT SAFETY FIRST
Artists must display all art and craft work in a safe and secure manner to help protect from gusts of wind. Cash tins and valuables should be stored out of sight to protect from theft.
Please contact us for advice and/or help if required.
HELP & COVER
If possible, ask a family member or friend to be on hand during the event to help with visitors, cover breaks and time away from your display area and to ensure the safety of your display throughout the day.to ensure the safety of your art work at all times.
If you are unable to get help during the day, please let us know… we are on hand to help throughout the day.
SALES
Where possible, take payments via a card reader or BACs transfer.
Payments should be received in full before artwork is taken. Provide/offer a sales receipt as proof of payment.
Have suitable packaging available especially for bigger and more fragile artwork.
Handout a business card/flyer with each purchase.
Keep a note of your sales and purchaser's details for your records and future marketing.
Have RED dots at the ready for customers collecting at a later date!
