PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB

THE CLUB
We are a small friendly photography club supporting amateur photographers who all share a passion and enjoyment in creating images and progressing their photography skills.

THE AIM
To provide a relaxed and stimulating environment that encourages members to expand on their knowledge through learning and sharing, with a professional on hand to advise and progress photography skills. No competitions… just the chance to enjoy photography as a rewarding hobby shared with like-minded people.

CLUB NEWSLETTER
The newsletters initially guide you with the set assignments to challenge and develop skills learnt. Monthly hints and tips are included to keep you practicing your skills.

ASSIGNMENTS
A themed assignments is set each month. Club members have the choice of how they would like to produce a set of images to illustrate their interpretation of the assignment.

To get the most out of your membership it is recommended that Club Meets and Workshops are attended.

CLUB MEETS
The studio meets form a hub for group discussions, assignment presentations, show and tell, feedback, help and support. Talks and demonstrations from a variety of professionals within the industry provide inspiration to help develop creativity.

WORKSHOPS
Members can enrol onto themed specific workshops held throughout the year. These have been specifically designed and tailor made to help the photographer and members are encouraged to participate to achieve the most from the assignments.

CLUB MEMBER TOURS
The annual club tour is open to members only. The two day photo shoot provides the perfect opportunity to emerse yourself in your photography and enjoy time away with fellow photographers.

This all combines to offer continued help and support to club members and ensures everyone can progress at their own pace with the added option of working towards annual club exhibitions!
