Intermediate Course: 4 week Modules £120 each

Each 4 week module is suitable for those who have an understanding of their camera's controls and settings. An understanding of editing and post production would be an advantage for this course.

During each module we will consolidate all the topics from the Beginners course and aims to develop your skills and knowledge further.

Each of the following three module will run independantly at various times during the year:

Portraits Landscapes Still Life

Throughout each module group discussions and evaluation of work will enhance your learning. This will help you gain a greater understanding of how to create interesting, beautiful images that have meaning and impact.

Module structure

Week 1: Classroom based Week 2 & 3: Location shoots Week 4: Post Production

Content for each module will include:

  • Planning, lighing, shooting styles

      • Exposure settings and compositions

          • Group and individual tuition and feedback
            • Equipment

              • A DSLR camera will ensure you get the most from the course

                  • Tripod and filters for the landscape module would be helpful but not essential
                    • Fees include: Course notes and refreshments

                      To guarantee personal tuition places are limited to a maximum of 4 each module.

                      Catch up sessions are available for those who miss lessons: £35
