Intermediate Course 10 weeks £245

Venues: Salisbury St Marks Avenue, Salisbury, Wiltshire SP1 3DW

Times: Daytime 11am - 1pm Evening 6.30pm - 8.30pm

This 10 week course is suitable for those who have an understanding of their camera's controls and settings. An understanding of editing and post production would be an advantage for this course.

The course will consolidate all the topics from the Beginners course and aims to develop your skills and
knowledge further. The course will focus on the following areas of photography:

Portraits, Landscapes and Still Life

Throughout the course group discussions and evaluation of work will enhance your learning. This will help you gain a greater understanding of how to create interesting, beautiful images that have meaning and impact.

Please note: To ensure you get the best opportunities to practice on your course from October to March evening practical sessions will be held at the weekend in the daylight hours.

Course content includes:

  • Camera controls and exposure settings

      • Shooting styles, compositions and focal lengths

          • Studio lighting, tripods and filters

              • Presentations, mini assignments, group and individual reviews
                • Equipment:

                  • A DSLR camera will ensure you get the most from the course

                      • Tripod and filters would be helpful but not essential
                        • Course fees include tuition, notes and refreshments.

                          To guarantee personal tuition places are limited to a maximum of 4 each course.
